Anyone who knows me, knows I love a cocktail 🍸 except I hate that awful feeling in the morning from all the processed sugar.
So, for the next few Friday’s I will be bringing happy hour to Holistic life and experimenting with some healthy cocktails for you all to enjoy.
Don’t worry they will still be alcoholic but I will be putting my own healthy spin on some classic recipes.
Kicking off with my personal favourite and carrying on the ‘heal your gut’ theme from my previous post, this weeks cocktail is a dark and stormy. Using kombucha instead of ginger beer to support the bacteria in my stomach with probiotics found in the fermented tea.
Recipe:
50ml of spiced rum
1/2 lime squeezed
150ml of ginger kombucha
Instructions:
Pour all the ingredients into a glass with lots of ice and gently stir. Garnish with a slice of lime 👌
